VISION BOARD Day Sunday 17th Jan 2016

10 Dec 2015    published by: Kylie Blacksell

Have you or someone you know ever done a Vision Board?

Have you discovered the power of this amazing tool?

Vision Boards have been used all over the world for decades, to help manifest dreams.

They work on your Reticular Activating System (RAS) in your brain. Seeing images carefully placed on a Vision Board, on a regular basis, activates this system. You then, just by seeing these images, manifest them into your reality!

The first part of our day is yoga, pranayam (breathing techniques), meditation, and other special forms of healing therapy preparation, as lead up to creating our Vision Boards.

The second part of the day, we create our own vision board to take home.

This promises to be a day filled with good company, good fun, good ideas, and a sense of direction, purpose and fulfilment.

We would love it if you could join us!

Just bring a note pad and pen, a pillow to sit on (there are some chairs available if you prefer), a water bottle, and comfortable clothing for yoga.

Bookings are essential as there are limited spaces.

Time = 10am – 4pm Sunday 17th Jan 2016 in my home yoga studio at 3 Shumack st. Weetangera.

Cost = $45

(This payment needs to be made to secure your place. If you don't do paypal just message me and you can organise another method of payment).

This covers the 6 hour workshop and light snacks, tea and coffee.

BYO Lunch.

I look forward to seeing you there!

This workshop follows on from the Life Purpose one (on 3/1/16), but you don’t necessarily have to attend the Life Purpose Workshop to enjoy the benefits of the Vision Board Day. Each of them are stand-alone workshops.

Grief and Loss - How to minimize symptoms Workshop 10th Nov 2015

20 Oct 2015    published by: Kylie Blacksell

potential to send a person into a state of deep grief and depression.

There’s also the loss of a family pet, a job, a status, financial stability, a marriage, a partnership, a family home, the loss of one’s innocence, losing your childhood (due to “adult” - type circumstances), loss of freedom (for example, due to lack of money, a change of circumstance like an unexpected pregnancy, an unexpected death or an illness in the family – where you’re the primary carer, or a loss of transport like a car, or loss of mobility due to an accident).

There’s also the loss of a way of being – when a relationship changes and you no longer share the same things with that person – or when you’ve decided to change your way of being (by first letting go of old ways of being) to accommodate a circumstance like a new job or new relationship.

So there are many varied forms of loss (most of which aren’t commonly identified by society), that all have the potential to activate the grief response. And this response for each person will vary as much as personalities/personal histories do.

If you’re currently suffering from grief and loss, or if you are aware that you don’t cope well with the loss of certain things, and you would like to cope better, come to our 3hr workshop on managing grief and loss.

At this workshop you will be shown several carefully selected techniques from yoga, mudras (hand and body gestures), pranayam (breathing techniques), affirmations, light and sound therapy and many more disciplines, to bring you a tool box that you can employ at any place and at any time, to help manage the symptoms of grief/loss and to allow you to explore the possibility of having more courage to make the necessary changes in your life, free from the overwhelming fear of suffering debilitating grief as a consequence of the changes.

“No matter how hard I try, this room/ table/ cupboard/ drawer/ car is always cluttered!”…..”I just have too much stuff and not enough room!”….”I feel like I can’t get moving on what I need to do because I’m surrounded by so much mess!”….”I feel lethargic, heavy and cluttered on the inside”….

If this sounds like you, or someone close to you then the good news is that there’s a way out! A way to de-clutter and detox your mind, body and ultimately your environment.

Your environment (particularly your house, car and work space) and your body, are simply a reflection of your mindset and your emotional state, and what you believe to be your reality. Once you’ve identified the emotional, mental, energetic and physical blockages around this clutter, then some simple yoga techniques, affirmations, mudra, mantra, pranayam and other Healing Therapy techniques will enable you to transform your inner state so that you may in turn transform your body and environment for the better!

Join Kylie for an evening where you will be shown several carefully selected techniques from yoga, mudras (hand and body gestures), pranayam (breathing techniques), affirmations, light and sound therapy and many more disciplines, to bring you a tool box that you can employ to declutter and detox your life!

Trust and Openness Workshop 19th Aug

15 Aug 2015    published by: Kylie Blacksell

“Let go….trust in the Force Luke!”

“Yeah…but it’s too big…too hard….I can’t do it!”

“This little pint-sized 500 year old YODA dude can pull it off… (lift my space ship out of the mud with just his mind) …but I can’t!”

Could this easily have been you talking? Your words?

Is trusting in anyone (especially yourself) a bit tricky for you?

Do you have to see it to believe it? ...and even if you do see it, still be a little “I don’t believe it!”?

Do you feel like you have a few more (or amplified/extreme) trust issues than the average person?

Is openness also quite difficult for you? Do you feel quite closed off (particularly with your expression) in your relationships?

If there were several “yes” answers there then you may very well have a “7” in your numerology, or there may be a close family member/influence in your life that has shared their “7” energy with you. Or there may be an incident (or several) in your life that has influenced you to not trust anyone.

7’s face many challenges around trust and openness. They feel the effects of situations around trust quite acutely. They can either be over-trusting and then feel quite naive/ silly when they realise that someone has railroaded them, or under-trusting…not willing to give an inch…or surrender to any outside influence whatsoever.

This can be a very lonely and confusing place to be.

If this sounds like you, or a close friend/ family member, or if there are many “yes” answers there, come along to Kylie’s “Trust and Openness” workshop.

At this workshop you will be shown several carefully selected techniques from yoga, mudras (hand and body gestures), pranayam (breathing techniques), affirmations, light and sound therapy and many more disciplines, to bring you a tool box that you can employ to relieve symptoms of anxiety around trust, and to allow you to explore the possibility of and freedom in being more trusting and open with yourself, and then others. You will also learn the mechanisms involved in the 7 energy.
